Lennix Plays T-Ball

After Lennix's Last Game

Lennix was not the only one excited to start T-ball. This is what we have been anticipating since we found out we were having our first child and it was a boy. I smiled the whole time we were at his first practice and we loved his coach. Lennix did so well and I know I am his mother but I really think he's a natural. You could tell that Jay had been teaching him how to throw correctly and he did so well at chasing after the ball. Well, a little too well - he didn't want anyone else to get it no matter what position he was playing. It was so much fun to watch They had picture day and it was really expensive to buy the packages so here are some of the photos we took out side the YMCA. He was adorable as we were taking them and I think they turned out so perfect.

This picture makes me smile every time. Jensen really wanted to take some pictures also so I told him to stand like he was catching the ball and this is what he did. So cute!!

He got better and better at hitting the ball. Lennix actually does much better with jay just pitching to him because that is what they practice all the time at home. But he got the hang of it and became a really good hitter.

Brooklyn and Lennix at their last game. Sitting on the bench waiting to go in. If we are unfortunate to live by the Miller's I hope these two remember what good friends they were.The YMCA had a trophy ceremony and they gave all the kids some treats and called each one up one by one to present them their trophy.Lennix loves his trophy. He actually keeps it in our TV armoire and shows everyone when they come over. He can't wait to play again next year.
