Soccor and Happy Spring

Here in Ohio they have what they call "Tiny Tots" sports. We thought it would be really fun to see how Lennix did in organized sports. The first sport they offered was soccor. He had a really good time but here are some of my favorite things that happened durning his games:

-He would forget he was playing soccor and decide to sit and pic the grass while the ball went right past him

-When ever a jet, airplane, hellicoptor (okay anything that flies) would pass he would stop what he was doing and insist on watching it until it was out of sight (yes, this was also during the games)

-We wondered if he had any competitivness because at first he would not go for the ball. After he learned that it was okay to steal the ball from the other team he got much better. I wondered if this was undoing years of treaching him to not take things from other people :).

-My favorite would have to be when he would just stop playing and come over to me and Jay and we would ask him what was wrong, he would then say "I just want to play baseball".

He did get pretty good by the end of the season. It is a sport that he really had no idea what it was when he started and I think he learned a lot and had a really fun time in the process.

This was at their last game and Lennix was so excited that he got a trophy!

An action shot.
They had picture day at the YMCA for soccor and they wanted so much money for the photos so we decided to do our own photo shoot. Lennix was such a good sport and I think they turned out adorable. Here are a few of him, Jensen and his friends.
This is one of my favorite pictures of the both of them

Such good friends
Love it!
These are a few pictures from one of their soccor practices
Of course Jay is out there playing with the kids. Jensen's face is hillarious in this picture. He is having way too much fun!
He looks like a Pro
This was probably one of the hardest quarters Jay has had in dental school, not to mention that he had his national boards to study for and yet he made the time to come to almost all of Lennix's practices and games. I am so grateful for that and I know he's been so blessed by putting us first so many times.

Jensen went through a fase where I would put him to sleep and he would stay really quiet, then little by little he would sneak out of his room and fall asleep out side his door. This was by far the cutest position that I have found him in.
Happy Spring!! We received yet another wonderful package from Grandpa Skip and Grand Barbie (my Dad and Mom). We absolutely love getting them because they usually have the most fun and random items in them. The boys were so excited to make these melting chocolate suckers.

Of course they loved eating them the best. You can tell that's all they are thinking about. But I had to take a picture first :)
