I was using my neck pillow to get comfortable and of course Lennix thought it looked fun so I gave him Jay's.
We arrived at Price and May's at about 10:00 pm. I love where they live and they were so cute to stay up and chat with us. We decided that we are going to make it a tradition to come visit them every 4 years. We will be done with dental school then and will probably be driving back through!!
Lennix loved the tunnel. That was the longest one he's been in.
I could not capture it very well but the canyon was so pretty
When Jay and I drove this road when we were first married I remembered that I loved this canyon.

On I70 heading towards Colorado.
My Hot Honey in his aviators!!

Jay hates it, but I had to document every moment. I just let him know in advance that Yes I will be taking a lot of picutures over the next few days. He was actually really good about it the whole trip. Thanks Jay for putting up with my addiction to picture taking!
We are really leaving Cedar. Jay had to say goodbye to the land of his birth and after a college degree, a husband and two kids, and a whole decade I also said my farewells. On our way to Dental School in Ohio!!

Those smiles were because Jay's sister Shy just made us the most delicious pumpkin pancakes I've ever had.

The Big Move

Our truck arrives. We had no idea how long it would take us to fill it.
The boys couldn't take it anymore.
We were so close to being done but Lennix's cousins (Zach, Ty, and Jaxson) had to go to bed so we had to take a last picture. Still, Lennix say's each of their names and tells me that he misses them.
Every time Lennix and Jaxson see each other they greet with a hug. So cute.
Closing it for the night. All we had left were a couple of bags and random things. It took the whole day and a whole lot of help. We love our family!!
My darling In-laws, Art and Mary, saying goodbye to the boys.

Good Friends

Me, Jay and Jensen. Christy, Bryan and Ethan Clark. Issac, Tiff and Caleb Askeroth. FYI: Lennix was sleeping :) We miss you guys!

Going Away Dinner Before We Left

My Nephews (Ty and Zach) and Niece (Shay) and Jay's oldest brother Ken
Enjoying the perfect weather at Jay's parents, Art and Mary's
Without fail, Art always cooks the most wonderful meat. Yup, I ate that whole thing!!

Our Last Days in Cedar
