We had such a great New Years Eve party at my parents house. As you can see we brought in some professionals to serve us ice cream and entertain us in their stylish aprons and hats. Oh, Jasen and Mike, you are two peas in a pod!

I have learned that you should never give your child the present that you know they would be most excited about first. After we gave him that toy to the left of Jay, he had no need to open up any other presents.

Is this the most staged "opening of the presents" you've ever seen. Hey, it's his first Christmas, we had to document everything.

At 8:15 this morning, Jay got a phone call from The Ohio State University Admissions office and all I heard him say was "Absolutely, Yes!" I ran into the hall way and he greeted me by saying, "We are going to Dental School!" I gave him a huge hug and just started screaming. I probably woke up all of our neighbors. I can't tell you how excited we are and not only that, Ohio was our first choice. We truly feel that it is the place that Heavenly Father wants us and we are going to have an awsome next 4 years!! GO BUCKEYES!
