Just For Fun Pictures and Easter 2010

This was the Young Women's Presidency minus Liz. It's crazy that we were all pregnant at the same time.
Before Jay and I left Cedar we planted a garden while we were living at Mitch and Julie's. It was fun but we had no idea what we were doing. Regardless, it did grow a little bit but when it came to harvesting we were long gone to Ohio. So, this year I talked with Tabby and right outside her window there was a small plot of land that had nothing in it. We decided to plant our little garden and pack it full to see how it would grow. We brought out Tabby's picnic table and while the kids had some lemonade, we got the ground ready to plant.
The dirt was 50% clay and we seriously thought that it was not going to let anything grow but how do you know if you don't try, right?
From right to left: 2 rows of summer squash, 2 rows of cucumber, 1 row of watermelon and 1 row of corn. Yup, a lot in a little space. We put some organic feeding soil on top hoping that would help.
I have to say, we were proud on how good it looked when we were done planting. Now, we have to remember to water it! :)
For Lennix's preschool they had a Fairy Tale day and they told everyone to dress up as a fairy tale character. So. of course I needed to make shift a Prince costume for him. I have to say he makes a very handsome prince.
Jensen could not stand that he didn't have a crown also so I made him one and we put on his super Jensen cape and he felt just as cool as Lennix.
I wanted to do some pot gardening also just to see how it worked so of course every morning I would wake up to see how much they had grown. I got so excited when they all started to sprout. Kind of a small miracle to me.

Out of our Strawberries, basil, green & red peppers, beans, and lettuce-- the basil and lettuce were by far the best producing plants.
Jay snapped a photo of me and Lennix taking a little snooze
A bunch of us that live in Golf Pointe got together and played a little T-ball with all of our kids. I think they had a really great time.

EASTER 2010!
Andy and Tabby invited us to watch conference at her parents house, which landed on Easter. We had a really yummy ham and potato dinner and we had plenty of treats from the easter egg hunt. It was really nice to be there. It felt like we were with our family just hang'n out eating good food. We had so much fun and of course stayed longer than we expected. As you can tell by the picture, Lennix and Jensen had such a great time.
Even Jay and Andy got into their own game and by the time they came in for the second part of conference they were both sweating. A little healthy competition is always good.
Enjoying their Easter candy
Jensen showing me his favorite egg
So excited about his findings
These are our eggs that we decorated for the Easter egg hunt.
They really got into it so I had to take a picture.
