A Day at the Air Museum
Jay and I went up for Jarem and Chan's wedding and the day after we went to the Air Museum by Hill Air Force Base with my family. Jay and I have been before but this time it was fun to watch Lennix look at all the airplanes.
My Grandpa Nielsen came with us and was by far the best part of our outing. He told us stories about when he fought in WWII and I've never seen him be so sociable and make so many friends.
I have to say that this trip home Jasen and Lennix really bonded. He loved hanging out with Jasen and now calls him by name every time he sees him or looks at a picture with him in it.
Well, my grandpa made so many friends at the museum that finally Lennix just gave up and decided to fall asleep. Isn't that so cute?

Climbing at the SUU Wall
I was talking to my brother in law Scott and he told me that SUU added a climbing wall in the Sorensen PE Building. I was so excited and we decided to go there for FHE the next day. I invited my good friend Holly to come with us and it was her first time climbing. To say the least she tore it up!! She did so well. We had so much fun and decided that we are going to try to go as often as we can. Also, Lennix had so much fun bouldering around the bottom. We think he will be a natural climber!!

Parting is such Sweet Sorrow
Brent, Meg and drew have officially left for Dental School. I keep telling Jay that if feels like they are gone on vacation and we will see them next weekend. It doesn't feel real. Also, after they left it made us really excited to move and start our adventure.
We miss you guys already!!

Fun in the Sun
Playing in the water in the back yard
We had a water day at Jay's sister Shy's house. We had so much fun and Lennix loved playing with his cousins.
Jensen wishing that he could jump up and run around with the rest of them
As always, Lennix was the life of the party!
What's a water day without pop cycles!?

Fire Trucks in Fillmore
My brother Jasen is a fire fighter for the BLM and is stationed out of Fillmore. These are some pictures of when he gave us a tour of the bunk house. As you can imagine Lennix went nuts and kept on saying "Fire Truck," and "Big Truck." He loved it. Thanks Jasen!!

Say No To Spores!!
This is the best picture of my nephew Alec and Jensen. Daphne and Troy gave them these jammies when they were born (only two days apart). Alec is Robb and Steph's little man and if some of you did not know, Alec was diagnosed with Infant Botulism. He has been at Primary Children's for about 4 weeks now and is doing SOOO Well. He is now taking a sippy cup and as soon as he can be self sustained with his eating he can go home. Lot's of prayers have gone into play and his recovery has been remarkable. Another thing is that I have been so impressed with the way my Sister Steph and her husband Robb have handled the whole situation. I have seen them come together with so much strength and faith and I totally believe that Alec felt that and that is why he has had such a speedy recovery. We sure love you Steph and Robb!!
So, my mom was on the phone with Steph one day and we thought is was so funny that the first words she said was "Alec got his gag back!" It is one of the major bench marks of improvement, but we thought it was so funny. Also, with Infant Botulism, it is basically spores that take over the body and paralyzes the muscles as it passed through- Hence the "Say no to Spores." Well, after my mom got off the phone we could not put to rest that those sayings would make the best T-shirt!! So . . . Here is the finished product and Alec could not be more darling in it!! Yes, my mom is the artist of the Spore!
We Love you so much Alec!

My Niece, Aubree's, Baptism
Of course a little Guitar Hero was a hit at the party. Jasen-I'm sure you were a Rock Star in another life!
Abree and Paris are cousins and are only a couple of months apart. I thought it was so cute that they wanted to wait and get baptized on the same day. So many of their family members came and I'm sure they felt loved.

I Love My Lennix
I would die for those lashes!
He couldn't decide which one he was going to take into the bath with him
Such a beautiful day at my parents house. Oh, and such a beautiful boy.

Coach Talbot
Jay was asked to help coach the JV and Varsity baseball team at Canyon View High School this year. He was so excited and I think the coaches couldn't have been more pleased with him. These pictures were taken at the state tournament this year up in Salt Lake at the Kerns High School's new field.
Jay is the far left in both pictures-if you couldn't tell.
They ended the day taking 5th and they were pretty sad about the last two games. They gave the best team, Judge Memorial, a run for their money and they played such a good game.

Having a camp fire in the back yard
If there is anything that has any type of ball on it Lennix has to touch it and call it by name. In this moment, Jensen's shirt was no exception. I Love those blue eyes.
One of Jay's best friends, Derrick Gale graduated this May and we saw him as we were attending Julie's, my sister-in-law's, diploma ceremony and was able get get this great picture.
Lennix loves his aunt Julie!
