Jay is Famous!! My good friend Erin put this on her blog and I had to add it to mine. This is the link that they send all SUU Alumni with updates and it just so happens that there is Jay with Erin's husband Dave to the left and their friend Tyler to the right. Isn't that great!?

Jay's dad, Art, called us one day and asked if both of us would sing with him in church. It was such a fun day to sit around and watch as Jay and his dad played the guitar together and then we sang an old hymn called "The Old Rugged Cross." I thought it turned out really nice. Plus, it was a very memorable day.

Enjoying a day at the park
We have the best park that is just two streets away from our house. If the weather is good we spend many hours playing there. Plus, it's a good reason for my sister-in-law, Meg, to come visit me and bring Drew over. This is Lennix's first time at the climbing wall. We have some work to do with him!!
Meg and our nephew, Jaxon
Oh yes, only in a small town would someone build a free 4 whole miniature golf course and provide all the balls and putters. I love this town. The boys go nuts over it. It makes for a really good, cheap family home evening!!

This is by far the best part of the house. This couch fits so many people and as you can see each of the kids have found a good spot for themselves.

Our New Home In Enoch
I have to tell you how blessed we feel to be living in this beautiful home. It is Mitch and Julie's(Jay's brother and his wife) home and because he plays baseball he and Julie will be gone until Sept. and seeing how we are leaving in Sept. for dental school, it couldn't have worked out more perfectly!! This is a clip of just how much at home we already feel.

These two pictures are a typical day at the Nielsen household. There is always a game going on at the table while my mom is busy making a project for someone (and of course the grandkids have to help) Thanks mom for all of those late night, last minute projects you halped me with!
I love this picture of my nieces, Ash and Aubree. Also, there is something about being a Grandma- I think there is some type of sleep potion on their finger tips!!Posted by Jay and Mel at 6:53 PM 0 comments
We have moved!
This was the day before I started packing everything. We enjoyed our little apartment but who could resist house sitting a 5 bedroom home with no smokers connected to us!!
I think this was about our 10th load. I had no idea we had so much stuff. Good thing we have wonderful family who helped us move.

Snowmobiling by Heber
Our Brother in Laws, Troy and Kendric rented a cabin and invited the family up for a weekend of snowmobiling. It was a dream!!
As you can tell we had so much fun with all of the kids
Also, the relaxing time was just as fun.

Jensen's Blessing Day
I wanted to enjoy the Super Bowl after everyone left but this sounded so much better.
Jensen looking adorable in his blessing outfit. Also, Jay's mom made the blanket that he is laying on and it is officially the "blessing blanket" now.
We had such a wonderful weekend. We told our families that they were not obligated to come all the way to Cedar. We were overwhelmed with how many of you made it a point to come. We love you guys!!

This picture is classic! Lennix always tried to get into my gum so we decided to give him a whole piece and he realized it wasn't as good as he expected!
